I'm still not getting this on launch.

Never said I wasn't getting it either, only said it didn't feel like MGS. I don't think anybody in here has flat out said 'I am not ever purchasing this game, ever.'

As for the game itself, looks beautiful but I still think it doesn't look like MGS, my opinion. When the price drops I'll buy it to confirm, not a problem. If a friend buys it and is done with it before the price drops, I'll just borrow his and play that. Won't even need to buy it until the TTP duo is released.

I reckon I'll play through the game, do the side missions and then give it back.

I know that IP addresses can change depending on where you log in from. But, I've always wondered if there's some other way to track registered accounts. IP tracking alone seems very easy to circumvent.





I'm sure that would have been his reaction, or at least something close . Back in 2008, I attended the launch for MGS 4. I was at Times Square with Kojima and Yumi Kicuchi, while all of the English voice actors (including David Hayter) were in California. It's like Kojima didn't even want to associate with them.

I think the consensus was, wait for the price drop so that buying “demos” doesn’t become a common thing. I’m glad to see people changing their minds here though. Theres a thread dedicated here dedicated to prevent people from buying the game even.

He posts some odd things on Twitter . I remember when he had eggs benedict a few months ago, and Tweeted something like, "if you shake the plate, they look like boobs lol".

GZ is still a glorified, albeit a longer than your average demo. It's a preview of what's to come, which is what a demo essentially is. I would go as far as to say the price on PS4 is fair for the collective peoples. Though I personally would not pay it

Confused at first, I went far back in the thread to figure out what this whole "Hideo Sutherland" thing was about. Guys can't you see. It's all interrelated. HideoSutherland may seem like a troll, his methods outlandish, but his heart is in the right place. Remind you of someone? Someone who had a vision and lost his way. Big Boss. For all the flak you gave the guy, he was just frustrated. He was just trying to expose these bullies. If you even hint that you like the direction Kojima is taking the series, the cayotes on here pounce. I am not him, I am just an Mgs fan here to talk GZ. He is a legend though.

Well, they are right to an extent. Should this be free? Yes. Should Kojima have waited and release the WHOLE damn thing at once? Hell to the yeah. I can assure that fans would've not been this irate if that was the case. There's still the whole jack bauer killed my solid snake debate, but that's different.

PERSONALLY, I don't mind. Like I said, I don't buy games on day one like I use to do, there's fewer and fewer choices for my personal taste out there, and this is something I really can't wait to play. YMMV, of course, as with everything.

I can respect ppl sticking to their guns and not buy it, as that must suck. And if they change their minds, that's cool in my book too.

Now for a very important question:

who is Hideo Sutherland? Lol.

No one has been a coyote to me yet. In fact, it's all been cool. And I've shown my liking to the game thus far.

And on the state of the thread, there is a lot of underlying suggestive remarks and passive aggressive comments from all folk. If one feels like they need to defend themselves, which funnily enough it is the one trait most of the MGS fans who post in this thread share in common. Then they will do so. Which is fine too, it's just the way we socialise. It escalates and that's why the thread is in constant friction.

It will stay that way forever, we are learning to co-exists. There's no need to come in from the outside with the attitude of poking the fire when you know what the outcome will be

Other games in the past have already did this. This isn't something new, I guess it is still a debate on whether 30 dollars is fair for this game. From everything I know about the game I think it is, but that just my opinion.
