I don't know that I consider it a gimmick but it's just something that I don't find enjoyable. I find it distracting and it sometimes gives me a headache...Not the experience I'm looking for
Say what you will about the state of the MCU but at least they’ve been giving us some comic accurate X-Men that look great.
I hope the MCU able to make a comeback with the X-Men reboot. They have X-Men 97 as a reference for what people want from great X-Men content.
X-Men has always been way more interesting than Avengers, F4, etc. So now they just need to delivery

Weird they haven’t announced xmen yet. And yes xmen were always better than the avengers. The avengers got as big as they did cause fiege knew what he was doing and fox just churned out crap movies to hold onto the rights. You had some gems but the damage was done due to them making terrible movies. Kinda like Sony but they failed miserably and ran to marvel. They still haven’t learned there lesson though.

Wow so the day before Blade, Electra and Gambit were going to film their scenes the strike shut down the Europe movie in England and everyone returned to the states and they returned 6 months later in the freezing cold to fill their scenes.

I have never seen it used so blatantly though. It was borderline offensive and a 4th wall break in its own right.
