Heads will more than likely be in a container similar to that of WB100 Wonder Woman

If they did the needle print thing on these, "better materials/work" jargon for artisan line is already hot trash.

I'm curious to see how the sculpted hair version will look. I might get that instead, same with the Phoenix Joker. Maybe in 5 or 10 years the quality will be more consistent, so for now, sculpted might be the safer choice. I wonder if the "real" hair gimmick will become standard or is it just a fad.

From facebook. Neither are perfect, but I really gotta give it to Hot Toys on this one. The hair could be thinned out a little, and touch more white makeup added. But overall, it's bang on.

Hot Toys seem to have gone overboard on the skin texture.

Both have too much hair.

Theres those black dots that make it look like he just got out of playing Pinhead from Hellraiser

Every headsculpt ever has been met with complaints of looking soft upon release; never thought I’d see the day where the concern was the final release was too textured

I’m absolutely chomping at the bit to get this in hand. I’ve owned every official TDK Joker made and I’ve been without one on the shelf for almost a year now.

I may eventually end up with the sculpted version but I’m gonna try my hand at futzing the wool haired version since I’ve never had one before.

HT. I traded off my IA about a month after the preorder went up. JND’s is way out of my price range but I’m definitely curious about it and it’s longevity.

Just take your time with it man, a few reference pics and perhaps even another viewing of the film while doing it and it’ll look good. Rooted hair is meant for us to take further than just out of the box. It’s never permanently a disaster unless you let it be. Throw a Dino tie on it and you’re off to a good start.

I usually prefer sculpted hair but I’ve always wanted a real hair Joker. Hopefully I can get it where I’m satisfied. The sculpted looks good too so that’s my backup plan.

Yeah that hairline on the sculpted looks surprisingly really well done. Such an improvement over their old 1:4 attempt.

I think the quality( paint, texture, rooted hair) seems better than Inart, but I dont see Ledger in this sculpt tbh. Maybe the open mouth is throwing it off for me, I don't know. Although Inart isn't perfect and has too much hair, I can see Heath's face in there, at least in the purple coat version.

I'm excited to get both Hot toys artisan and JND. I've had the inart and loved the purple suit one.

I gotta say people are very hypocritical when it comes to Inart though. Hot toys just released a batch of Jokers before they actually released the proper dam figure.

Either way it's nice to see what we can expect from them I'm guessing they're also using magnetic heads?

Texture and sharpness are not the same though

Hot Toys wins in paint, and that's really the differentiating factor for me between the two. But I can't give the hair to either.
